Having dazzled the United States and Canada with their regal presence, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived home in the UK. What excitement awaits the newly-married Prince William and Kate Middleton now?
Not a lot.
Sources say that following the royal wedding and a crazy last couple of months, the pair would like to keep a low profile for the rest of the year.
'The past few months have been a whirlwind and [Kate] wants to take a step back and spend some time with her new husband,' says a source.
Prince William is more than up for that.
'The Duke is going for his flying captaincy in early 2012. He needs to keep up his flying hours and there are some exams, a lot of work needs to done and he has to dedicate himself to that,' a spokesman told the Daily Mail.
Basically, they'll be living in Anglesey, Wales, where he's stationed, and when he's not training, Will and Kate will just enjoy being together.
'They have not really lived together since their wedding and want to spend time together,' says a palace source. 'Since they got married, they were on honeymoon, then in London for most of June for family events and the like.
'They want to go back and have a married life together under the radar. They just want to enjoy their life in Anglesey and keeping things chilled.'
In other words, like any newly married couple.
Who can argue with that?
